Americas Basketball International (ABI) is an established professional international
basketball league in the United States which competes against other professional
basketball teams in different leagues in Central America, South America, and the
Caribbean. The ABI consists of four (4) to eight (8) teams from the United States,
Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.
The conglomeration of these leagues has found a way to underscore the universal
appeal and excitement surrounding international basketball. There is a proven
marketability and popularity which ultimately creates social, economical, and
commercial success for each city that brings a franchise to life.
The ABI has chosen several cities to host teams. The season will last
approximately 16 to 20 weeks. Our goal is to help the millions of basketball players
seeking jobs to have another opportunity to continue playing the game they love.
The ABI front office will use reputable methods to recruit the most talented and
responsible players to represent the teams, cities, partners, sponsors, and
investors. The ABI is an example of professionalism and cultural diversity. The ABI
